en.Wedoany.com Reported - Hrvatski Telekom is accelerating its AI-first strategy by expanding its partnership with Dublin-based platform provider Beyond Now, embedding artificial intelligence into B2B customer journeys, sales processes, and internal operations.

The Croatian operator, part of the Deutsche Telekom Group, plans to activate AI across three business areas: offering AI-based services to B2B customers in Croatia; integrating agentic AI into business support systems (BSS), commerce, and sales processes; and driving AI adoption in internal tools and workflows. HT believes this will better support customer needs, resolve requests in real time, and accelerate time-to-market while reducing operational friction. Beyond Now's Wave AI technology will provide AI-based personal assistance to HT customers.
Beyond Now is working with HT to deploy agentic AI capabilities in phases, prioritizing use cases based on outcomes. The implementation includes agentic AI capabilities for streamlining sales operations and enterprise bulk ordering, as well as dynamic user interfaces that support customers in autonomously resolving requests such as upgrades, discounts, and enterprise service changes throughout their lifecycle.
This partnership builds on HT's B2B digital transformation with Beyond Now in 2023, which modernized HT's BSS environment and created a digital commerce experience for B2B customers. By using Beyond Now BSS Plus, HT digitized and automated purchasing, ordering, and monetization processes, enabling customers to order complete solutions online within minutes. The transformation reduced ordering time by 57% and significantly shortened the time required for HT to launch new products.
Ivana Beli Oštarčević, Director of B2B Portfolio Development and Management at HT, stated that the next phase of the partnership with Beyond Now is to apply AI where it can make the greatest difference for customers and the business. For customers, this means simpler processes, faster service delivery, and broader access to digital and AI capabilities; for the business itself, it means strengthening support teams, accelerating the launch of new services to market, and creating new growth opportunities.
Angus Ward, CEO of Beyond Now, noted that Hrvatski Telekom is an example of how communications service providers (CSPs) first build a digital foundation and then leverage it to make AI practical. He emphasized that AI only creates value for operators when embedded into real business processes, customer journeys, and monetization models, and that Beyond Now's role is to provide the platform layer that helps operators turn AI ambitions into deployable, sellable, and scalable services.
Beyond Now's AI platform supports digital commerce, BSS, marketplace enablement, partner orchestration, and monetization. The provider works with operators including A1, BT, Deutsche Telekom, Lyse, NTT, Telia, TELUS, and Verizon. Over the past five years, HT has invested more than €1 billion (approximately $1.14 billion) in network infrastructure in Croatia, including fiber network expansion and 5G deployment.
