Chen Li pointed out that three core elements are essential for a breakthrough in the robotics industry. First, a unified end-to-end robot large model is the most critical factor. Second, lower-cost, longer-life hardware combined with ultra-large-scale mass production can significantly reduce marginal hardware costs—a path that can draw lessons from the automotive industry's achievement of extreme cost-performance through scale. Finally, in terms of low-cost, scalable computing power, distributed computing is needed to address edge-side issues such as battery life, heat dissipation, and cost, as well as cloud latency problems.
