Khassenov stated that to increase local content, KazMunayGas and its partners in major oil and gas projects are working to gradually expand the share of local machinery manufacturers and producers in the service and equipment spare parts production sectors. The meeting particularly emphasized that Baker Hughes should extensively implement localization plans for the majority of services and goods within the framework of its projects in Kazakhstan.
