en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 6, 2026, as the 1293rd China-Europe Railway Express, fully loaded with auto parts and daily necessities, departed from Erenhot Railway Port in Inner Mongolia for Europe, it marked that the "Central Corridor" of the China-Europe Railway Express has exceeded 2,500 trips this year, 23 days earlier than last year.

As of now, the Erenhot Railway Port has operated 2,500 China-Europe Railway Express trains this year, transporting 2.3172 million tons of cargo, representing year-on-year increases of 13.71% and 27.03% respectively. Both the number of trips and cargo volume have reached new historical highs for the same period, fully demonstrating the efficiency of the port's cross-border logistics backbone corridor.

Since the beginning of this year, the railway department has closely aligned with the functional positioning of the Erenhot Area of the China (Inner Mongolia) Pilot Free Trade Zone, deepening the application of the "Digital Port" system and the "Railway Express Clearance" model to empower smart port construction, significantly improving the transport efficiency of the China-Europe Railway Express. Currently, the minimum customs clearance time at the port has been reduced to about 30 minutes.

As the only port for the "Central Corridor" of the China-Europe Railway Express, since the first train passed through in 2013, the Erenhot Railway Port has seen a steady annual increase in train trips. Currently, it operates 75 routes, connecting to over 70 hub stations in more than 10 countries, including Germany and Poland.
