en.Wedoany.com Reported - SK Telecom (SKT) announced that its "Haein" cluster, an artificial intelligence (AI) data center infrastructure built on NVIDIA's Blackwell GPU, has recently obtained the Cloud Security Assurance Program (CSAP) certification from the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA). SKT thus becomes the first company in South Korea to provide AI cloud services based on Blackwell GPUs and receive this certification.

SK Telecom announced on the 6th that the Haein cluster has obtained CSAP certification. The cluster is a single-cluster AI data center infrastructure composed of over 1,000 Blackwell GPUs, and this certification was granted for the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) sector. CSAP is a system used by the South Korean government to verify the security of cloud services utilized by public institutions. The Haein cluster has met the standards required for public cloud, such as network isolation and data isolation, in terms of security.
With this certification, SK Telecom has expanded its foundation for conducting AI infrastructure business in the public and financial sectors. Currently, the Haein cluster is also being used as the training infrastructure for a government-led sovereign AI foundational model project. Kim Myung-kuk, head of SKT's AI factory business, stated that the Haein cluster, as the first AI cloud service provider based on Blackwell GPUs to obtain CSAP certification, has established its position as a sovereign AI infrastructure and will continue to enhance its contribution in the public infrastructure sector.
