As a result, the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange maintained its soybean production estimate at 48 million tons for the 2024/2025 season.
The Buenos Aires Grain Exchange’s report, issued on April 9, 2025, provides detailed insights into crop conditions. Soybeans are rated 21% poor to very poor, 42% fair, and 37% good to excellent, with the good to excellent category rising by 1% from the previous week. Soil moisture levels are reported as 27% short to very short, 72% favorable to optimum, and 1% saturated. The favorable to optimum percentage dropped by 15 points compared to the prior week.
