en.Wedoany.com Reported - Whisper Marine announced the acquisition of Crownline Boats, a U.S. manufacturer of sport boats, deck boats, and cruisers headquartered in West Frankfort, Illinois. This follows Whisper Marine's acquisition of Qwest Pontoons in December 2025.

Whisper Marine is a subsidiary of Whisper USA, an American outdoor lifestyle products manufacturer founded and led by CEO Dave Hatley. Headquartered in Johnson City, Tennessee, the company produces hot tubs, swim spas, cold plunge tubs, golf carts, multi-purpose off-road vehicles, and boats at its facilities in Tennessee, Michigan, and Illinois.

Over its 35-year operating history, Crownline has delivered more than 90,000 boats to dealers and customers worldwide. The company primarily manufactures sport boats, deck boats, and cruisers, conducting on-water testing on Crownline Lake before each boat leaves the factory. Following the acquisition, production will continue at Crownline's manufacturing facility in Southern Illinois.

Whisper Marine stated it plans to invest in product development and capacity expansion at the site, while further expanding Crownline's dealer network.
