en.Wedoany.com Reported - VodafoneThree UK has announced a partnership with UK-based Vyntelligence to adopt the latter's agentic video intelligence work platform, supporting its mobile network integration and upgrade plan. The technology will be used in on-site engineering operations to help upgrade thousands of mobile network sites more efficiently, safely, and accurately.
VodafoneThree UK, formed by the merger of Vodafone UK and Three UK, is currently advancing a network construction plan worth £11 billion, aiming to achieve 99% population coverage of 5G standalone networks in the UK by 2030, and increase coverage to 99.96% by 2034. In large-scale site upgrades, on-site construction, documentation, quality verification, and site activation often involve extensive manual processes, with paper documents, manual reviews, and repeated site visits impacting project pace.
The Vyn platform from UK-based Vyntelligence uses AI-driven video capture and analysis to convert equipment status, installation conditions, and operational results observed by engineers on-site into auditable digital records. Engineers can use a mobile application to record short videos, and the platform assists in assessing site information, installation quality, safety risks, and delivery status, thereby reducing duplicate inspections and improving information consistency among contractors, on-site teams, and network operators. For VodafoneThree UK, the value of such tools lies not in replacing engineers, but in integrating on-site experience, acceptance documentation, and network upgrade progress more quickly into a unified workflow.
