HG Dunamu & Partners Invests Additional 9.7 Billion KRW in AI Healthcare

TA Associates, a global private equity fund managing approximately $65 billion in assets, also participated in this investment, though the specific investment amount has not been disclosed.

Airs Medical primarily provides AI-based medical imaging solutions. Its core products include "SwiftMR," which can reduce MRI scan time by up to 50% and restore low-quality images to high quality, as well as "SwiftSight," a platform for MRI quantification and structured reporting. This solution helps healthcare institutions improve the utilization of existing equipment, increase examination throughput, and reduce patient scan time. Currently, over 1,700 medical institutions in more than 40 countries use Airs Medical's solutions, with AI technology applied to over 6 million examinations annually.

Lee Hye-sung, co-founder and board chair of Airs Medical, stated that Dunamu & Partners' continued investment since the Series C round reflects mutual trust in the company's global expansion direction, and the addition of new partner TA Associates will jointly help this Korean medical AI company establish category leadership in the global market. Based on this round of investment, Airs Medical plans to strengthen global market expansion and product competitiveness, while advancing AI-driven MRI solution upgrades and new product development.
