en.Wedoany.com Reported - Xiaomi has confirmed its official debut at IFA 2026, to be held in Berlin, Germany, in September 2026, and announced a long-term investment plan for the European market. The company will invest €7.4 billion (approximately IDR 151.6 trillion) in artificial intelligence (AI) development between 2026 and 2028, while total R&D investment is expected to exceed €24 billion (approximately IDR 491.5 trillion) from 2026 to 2030. These funds will be allocated to multiple areas including AI, electric vehicles, robotics, operating systems, and foundational technologies.

Xiaomi unveiled the above exhibition and investment plans at the IFA Kick-Off event held in Berlin on June 30, 2026. The company reaffirmed its long-term commitment to the European market, vowing to increase AI-based R&D investment and strengthen its smart device ecosystem. Zeng Hua, Director of Public Relations for Xiaomi Group in Western Europe, stated that the IFA debut is a significant milestone in Xiaomi's European strategy, as the company aims to demonstrate how AI technology can integrate into all aspects of life through an ecosystem connecting personal devices, cars, and smart homes. Zeng noted that Europe is not just a market for Xiaomi to access, but a region to listen, learn, and grow together, with the IFA debut marking an important step in this journey.

At IFA 2026, Xiaomi will showcase the "Human × Car × Home" concept—an ecosystem connecting smartphones, smart home devices, electric vehicles, and AI services to deliver an integrated experience. Although specific products to be launched have not yet been disclosed, Xiaomi confirmed that IFA 2026 will serve as the stage for the debut of its ecosystem devices in the European market, with new product information to be gradually released before the September exhibition.

As part of its strengthened European strategy, Xiaomi is expanding its network of R&D centers across Europe and will enhance collaboration with local talent, research institutions, and industry partners. This approach indicates that Xiaomi views Europe not only as a sales market but also as a region for technological development, aiming to leverage local resources to generate innovations more aligned with European user preferences. As of the first quarter of 2026, Xiaomi's AI ecosystem has connected over 1.1 billion devices globally, spanning more than 200 product categories, including health devices, home appliances, cleaning equipment, entertainment systems, and smart mobility solutions. These interconnected devices form the foundation for Xiaomi's cross-device experiences developed through the "Human × Car × Home" concept.
