en.Wedoany.com Reported - Rostelecom has deployed high-speed network infrastructure on a site of over 20 hectares in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, between the Yenisei and Shush Rivers, providing digital systems, equipment, and live streaming support for the 22nd International Ethnic Music and Crafts Festival "World of Siberia" (МИР Сибири). The facility includes multiple internet access points at the main stage, control room, press center, and the "Match TV" (Матч ТВ) mobile television studio. Network operation during the festival is monitored around the clock by Rostelecom's technical team.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Administration of the Shushenskoye Municipal District, with support from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. At the request of the organizers, Rostelecom deployed a closed Wi-Fi network and dedicated wired connections with speeds of up to 1 Gbit/s. Valery Kleikin (Валерий Клейкин), Technical Director of Rostelecom's Krasnoyarsk branch, stated that the built infrastructure enables festival staff and accredited journalists to use stable, high-speed internet, allowing organizers to ensure the normal operation of on-site technical systems and journalists to transmit event photos and videos without interruption.
Dmitry Sirotinin (Дмитрий Сиротинин), Deputy Executive Director of "World of Siberia," noted that at large public events, the internet has evolved from an optional addition to an essential element of infrastructure, as important as lighting, sound, and navigation. He expressed that together with partners, they strive to allow more people to feel the festival atmosphere and enjoy the artists' performances.
