en.Wedoany.com Reported - German IT service provider Adesso has partnered with US software company Workato to integrate customer data from Salesforce systems into other applications via an iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) solution, and to automate sales processes using AI agents.
Companies that can identify customer needs before the customers themselves are more likely to win new business, and past order histories can sometimes provide such insights. To achieve this, companies need to integrate all customer data more deeply into their own systems. This task was once handled by middleware, but now iPaaS systems are taking over. Gartner considers US software manufacturer Workato to be the market leader in iPaaS, prompting Adesso to forge a closer partnership with the vendor.

The IT service provider from Dortmund aims to make customer data from Salesforce systems available to other applications. Adesso believes this can be achieved relatively easily with Workato's iPaaS solution. iPaaS software integrates data from different systems and processes it further using AI, from which insights that could generate additional business can be derived. Furthermore, Adesso is convinced that traditional sales processes can also be automated via Workato's Agentic platform. AI-based agents integrate data into other applications and processes, and can also identify which repetitive tasks in the sales process can be automated. New workflows can be created using natural language, which is simpler and faster than traditional programming.
Daniel Sedlacek, Senior Business Development Specialist for the Salesforce business unit at Adesso, stated that customers want to modernize their system environments, and Workato provides a platform that can both connect systems and actively shape processes. Sedlacek added that the company not only helps customers implement CRM but also supports them in running Salesforce as an integrated component within an intelligent enterprise architecture.
Stefan Schilling, Vice President for Central Europe at Workato, believes Adesso is the right partner for this initiative. He noted that the IT service provider has the influential customer project portfolio needed for the collaboration, including deep Salesforce expertise, endurance in complex projects, and a clear understanding of the issues that companies care about in their actual operations.
Adesso and Workato have already jointly implemented their first customer project. The US vendor's iPaaS solution is currently being deployed, and Workato's Agentic platform will subsequently help this customer further automate its processes, with Adesso providing consulting support throughout.
