Swiss T&N Acquires CKW Digital Solutions

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Swiss IT service provider T&N has announced the takeover of CKW Digital Solutions, the ICT business unit of CKW Gebäudetechnik, and plans to develop it over the long term, according to a joint statement from CKW and T&N.

CKW Chief Financial Officer Michael Sieber commented on the acquisition, stating that this move secures the future of the ICT business and creates new prospects for customers, employees, and partners.

According to the two companies, all existing contracts with customers and suppliers will remain fully valid. Previous points of contact will continue to provide services, and the operational handover is planned to be completed without service interruption.

Through this acquisition, T&N will expand its operations in Emmen. The company views Central Switzerland as a long-term growth market.

CKW, a subsidiary of Axpo, stated that it will focus more on its core business of energy supply and building technology in the future. T&N and CKW aim to establish a long-term partnership and leverage synergies through this acquisition.

The acquired ICT portfolio includes managed services, cloud solutions, integrated communication and collaboration solutions, connectivity, and IT security. The statement noted that CKW Digital Solutions thus complements T&N's existing business.
