en.Wedoany.com Reported - The 2026 World Robot Conference will be held from August 19 to 23 at the Beijing Etrong International Exhibition & Convention Center in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area. Registration channels for forum attendees, exhibition visitors, and media representatives opened on July 6. With the theme "Human-Robot Symbiosis, Production-Demand Integration," the conference will concurrently host the 2026 World Robot Expo and the 2026 World Robot Contest. It is expected to feature over 300 exhibitors, more than 2,000 exhibits, and over 150 new products making their debut.

The scale of this year's conference continues to expand, with the number of exhibitors increasing by 36% compared to last year and over 60 concurrent supporting events planned. The conference will feature content such as achievement releases, production-demand matchmaking, technical exchanges, and public engagement, showcasing humanoid robots, industrial robots, service robots, special-purpose robots, core components, AI control systems, and supporting achievements in the robot industry chain. With over 150 new exhibits, a batch of complete robots, key components, application systems, and scenario solutions will be unveiled during the conference.

At the conference site, the "Global Robot Application Exploration Initiative" will be launched, recruiting mass-produced products for free trial use by outstanding global innovation teams. This arrangement extends the exhibition activities into the application verification phase, allowing robot products to go beyond static display and enter testing scenarios for developers, research teams, and application teams. As the robot industry transitions from single-technology breakthroughs to large-scale application, the speed at which mass-produced products can be quickly trialed, receive feedback, and be iterated by different teams will directly impact their entry into industrial, commercial, medical, elderly care, education, and emergency scenarios.

The Central Enterprise Robot Innovation Consortium will also be established during the conference. This consortium aims to build an innovation ecosystem centered on joint technology research, shared scenarios, and mutual achievements, promoting resource integration among central enterprises in core robot technologies, application scenarios, and industrial collaboration. Central enterprises possess numerous complex scenarios in manufacturing, energy, transportation, construction, mining, logistics, and public services, which demand high levels of reliability, safety, continuous operation capability, and system integration from robots. After the consortium's establishment, robot companies are expected to gain clearer scenario entry points and joint verification conditions.

The World Robot Contest Finals will be held concurrently with the conference, with over 6,000 teams and more than 10,000 contestants from over 20 countries competing in Beijing. The competitions will cover cutting-edge directions such as collaborative robots and BCI-controlled robots, targeting youth, university students, research teams, and industrial innovation teams. Compared to mere exhibitions, the contest can demonstrate robot capabilities in algorithms, control, perception, interaction, and task execution, while also providing a more direct communication window for young talent entering the robot industry.

This year, the conference will also feature its first-ever Robot Consumer Street, introducing a "technology + food + cultural creativity" experience on-site. Robots will participate in conference processes such as greeting, reception, security checks, guidance, and disinfection, allowing visitors to engage more directly with service robots and consumer application scenarios beyond the exhibition. The exhibition will continue its public welfare policy, offering free registration for visitors aged 18 and under or 60 and over, further expanding public participation.

The 2026 World Robot Conference will officially open on August 19, with new product debuts, exhibitions, the application exploration initiative, the Central Enterprise Robot Innovation Consortium, and the World Robot Contest proceeding simultaneously. As registration channels open, exhibitors, development teams, industry users, and the general public will gradually enter the conference process. Beijing Yizhuang will host a concentrated series of robot new product launches, scenario matchmaking, and industry exchange activities in August.
