Founded in 2007, ICS primarily supports customers using wood coating systems, including large-scale automated coating lines. The company adopted waterborne technology early on and has continued to focus on the waterborne industrial wood coatings sector.

Gemini is an employee-owned wood coatings manufacturer headquartered in El Reno, Oklahoma. The company stated that this acquisition is part of its long-term growth strategy to strengthen its presence in the industrial distribution and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) markets.

"After nearly 20 years of business, Gemini's acquisition of ICS is a natural progression," said Peter Swindler, co-owner of ICS. "Both companies share the same mission, committed to achieving the goal of customer support."

Gemini has over 60 years of experience in wood coatings product development, serving distributors, professional wood finishers, and consumers. Its product line includes interior and exterior wood coating products, auxiliary materials, and solid wood flooring solutions.

With this acquisition of ICS, Gemini now has a total of eight administrative, distribution, manufacturing, and supply locations across the United States.
