en.Wedoany.com Reported - Hoymiles and TAMCO have signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Malaysia, focusing on local collaboration, system integration, testing, commissioning, and long-term service support for large-scale energy storage systems in the Malaysian market. TAMCO CEO Wong Jun Pin, Dr. Zhao Yi, Vice President of Hoymiles, and representatives from the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) attended the ceremony.

This collaboration is based on the demand for large-scale energy storage in the Malaysian market. Hoymiles will leverage its 5MWh and 6MWh liquid-cooled large-scale energy storage product platforms and global project experience to promote the localized application of related systems. TAMCO has been deeply involved in Malaysia's power infrastructure for over six decades, having served more than 2,300 substations, and possesses extensive local market expertise. Hoymiles will combine TAMCO's local engineering capabilities to accelerate the large-scale deployment of large-scale energy storage solutions in Malaysia.

TAMCO CEO Wong Jun Pin stated that the partnership with Hoymiles is a significant step for TAMCO in expanding its energy solution capabilities and will further strengthen the engineering and technical expertise required for Malaysia's future energy infrastructure.

Dr. Zhao Yi, Vice President of Hoymiles, noted that the successful implementation of advanced energy solutions requires not only reliable products and technologies but also partners with a deep understanding of the local market to drive progress together. Malaysia has laid a solid foundation for future energy development. Hoymiles will rely on its R&D and global experience in large-scale energy storage systems to work with TAMCO in advancing energy storage solutions that better serve local energy infrastructure construction.
According to Malaysia's National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR), the government aims to achieve 40% renewable energy in installed capacity by 2035 and 70% by 2050. Hoymiles has already deployed multiple solar-plus-storage applications in Malaysia, including assisting a local manufacturing enterprise in early 2026 to build Malaysia's first integrated "microinverter + commercial and industrial energy storage" project, providing a replicable solar-plus-storage model for commercial and industrial scenarios. In island energy scenarios, the company delivered the first local solar-plus-storage-diesel microgrid project, enabling intelligent switching between photovoltaic power generation, energy storage peak shaving, and diesel backup.

This cooperation with TAMCO marks a key step in Hoymiles' localized deployment in Malaysia's large-scale energy storage market. Moving forward, the company will continue to build on reliable products and long-term partnerships, steadily participating in Malaysia's energy infrastructure construction and providing stable, efficient technical support for the country's energy transition and sustainable development.
