The company's President, Oleg Belozerov, stated that from January to June this year, 65,000 tons of grain were delivered to Iran through Astara, more than four times the volume in the same period last year, indicating positive transportation dynamics.

The countries also agreed to create a "digital corridor" through synchronized data exchange systems and the adoption of paperless transportation technologies.
Belozerov added that cargo transportation via Astara showed growth in June, with 555 TEUs (a year-on-year increase of 3.5%) and 47,500 tons of cargo (a 50% increase) transported.
