en.Wedoany.com Reported - Brightstar Resources' latest drilling results have reinforced the scale and development potential of the Sandstone Gold Project as a significant gold camp in Western Australia. The company plans to update its mineral resource estimate in the coming weeks, with a pre-feasibility study (PFS) expected to be completed in the second half of 2026.

Managing Director Alex Rovira stated that assay results from Sandstone continue to validate the project's quality, scale, and development potential, supporting the upcoming resource update. The drilling program covers key deposits at the Sandstone Hub, including Two Mile Hill-Shillington, Bull Oak, Lord Nelson, Lord Henry, and Indomitable East, as well as deposits at the Montague Project, namely Montague-Boulder, Whistler, and Achilles.

According to Rovira, drilling at Bull Oak has confirmed high-grade continuity at depth within a broader mineralized envelope, with geological characteristics similar to Two Mile Hill-Shillington, highlighting the bulk tonnage potential of both deposits, which are located within 5 kilometers of the proposed processing plant. Drilling at Achilles continues to exceed expectations, with consistent mineralization present in both mafic and granitic lithologies, increasing confidence in upgrading a significant portion of the resource to the indicated category.

In addition to resource drilling, the diamond drilling program has also collected structural, geotechnical, and metallurgical data to support the ongoing pre-feasibility study. Four drill rigs are currently active at the Sandstone Hub, conducting infill drilling and targeting resource growth. Brightstar has also completed a reverse circulation drilling program at the Goldfields Hub, targeting resource infill and extensions at the Lord Byron deposit in preparation for open-pit mining planned to commence later this year, with assay results pending.
