en.Wedoany.com Reported - Canadian armored vehicle manufacturer Inkas® announced in early July 2026 that it will add three new production facilities in North America, located in Toronto, Canada; Charlotte, North Carolina, USA; and Fort Pierce, Florida, USA. These three facilities are expected to be fully operational by July 31, 2026. This expansion will more than double Inkas' production space in North America, aiming to enhance capacity and strengthen its market position as a North American armored vehicle manufacturer.
Inkas is a Toronto-based armored vehicle manufacturer and systems integrator with nearly three decades of history, specializing in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of armored vehicles and advanced security solutions. Its product portfolio includes armored sport utility vehicles and sedans, tactical vehicles, armored personnel carriers, drones, cash-in-transit vehicles, and custom special-purpose platforms, serving government, defense, law enforcement, commercial security, and special vehicle agencies.
The three new facilities added in this expansion cover a total area of 273,000 square feet. The specific layout is as follows: the Charlotte facility covers 200,000 square feet, dedicated to armored vehicle production; the Fort Pierce facility covers 31,000 square feet, marking the company's first facility in Florida; and the existing Toronto plant is expanded by 42,000 square feet. The Charlotte plant's location is strategically chosen to leverage local skilled workers with experience in armored vehicle manufacturing, which CEO David Kazanski stated will help "accelerate U.S. operations without having to build these capabilities from scratch."

This expansion is part of Inkas' long-term strategy to enhance production capacity, improve operational resilience, and expand its product portfolio. The increased capacity will support existing and future projects including armored vehicles, tactical platforms, drones, and special-purpose vehicles. Inkas Chairman Margarita Sinjin stated that this investment will create jobs for engineers, technicians, production specialists, and support teams in North America. Inkas recently launched a modular light tactical vehicle and the ANURI drone at the 2026 Canadian Defence and Security Exhibition, and this expansion follows closely, indicating the company is actively expanding its business footprint. Once the new facilities are fully operational, Inkas' manufacturing capabilities in North America will be significantly enhanced.
