en.Wedoany.com Reported - GPU cloud infrastructure orchestration platform Rafay Systems has partnered with AI application platform company Saturn Cloud to jointly provide production-grade AI services that can be delivered on existing infrastructure for a new generation of cloud service providers, telecom companies, sovereign AI providers, and enterprise AI factory operators.

As demand for AI infrastructure grows, GPU cloud operators face pressure to transition from offering pure GPU access to delivering complete AI services. Customers require ready-to-use features such as managed development environments, fine-tuning workflows, model serving, and inference endpoints, while building this platform layer independently demands significant engineering resources. The integrated solution from Saturn Cloud and Rafay aims to simplify this process.

Rafay provides the infrastructure operations layer for GPU clouds, supporting GPU infrastructure orchestration across data centers, cloud, hybrid cloud, and sovereign environments. Operators can leverage this to achieve secure multi-tenancy, self-service access, Kubernetes and SLURM orchestration, policy enforcement, usage metering, and cost allocation. Saturn Cloud adds an AI application layer on top of Rafay-managed infrastructure, offering managed development environments, distributed training, model fine-tuning, OpenAI-compatible inference endpoints, and token-level metering. The combination of the two platforms helps operators convert infrastructure capacity into high-value AI services.

Mohan Atreya, Chief Product Officer at Rafay Systems, stated that GPU cloud operators cannot compete long-term by merely selling raw capacity; they need to win with production-grade AI services that are easy to consume, govern, and monetize. Rafay provides the infrastructure control plane, while Saturn Cloud delivers AI workflows, together offering operators a path from GPU infrastructure to revenue-generating AI services. Sebastian Metti, founder of Saturn Cloud, noted that the partnership helps operators move up from GPU access to AI services.

This joint solution is suitable for new-generation cloud service providers, telecom companies, sovereign AI providers, and enterprise AI factory operators that need to deliver fine-tuning, model serving, and inference hosting services, provide OpenAI-compatible endpoints on their own GPU infrastructure, support tenant-specific AI workspaces and development environments, track usage for cost allocation or token-based monetization, while maintaining control over security, governance, data residency, and infrastructure operations. Saturn Cloud can be deployed on Rafay-managed infrastructure, and interested parties can contact Saturn Cloud or Rafay Systems for evaluation.
