en.Wedoany.com Reported - Dunas Capital Real Estate has signed a financing agreement worth €31 million with Cheyne Capital, specifically allocated for the construction of a new platform for Ontime logistics operator at the Antequera Dry Port (Málaga). According to the plan, the project will build a next-generation three-temperature warehouse covering 36,000 square meters. Once completed, the entire facility will be leased to Ontime, which specializes in three-temperature cold storage services.

The financing package was led by Dunas Capital Real Estate, with advisory support from Dunas Capital Debt. This represents one of the significant recent investments in the Andalusian logistics market and aligns with the company's strategic direction in the development of specialized logistics assets. The future facility will be located on a 63,000-square-meter plot within the Antequera Dry Port, with over 20,000 square meters dedicated to positive and negative temperature storage. The platform will be equipped with energy-efficient refrigeration equipment and a renewable energy generation system to ensure cooling power supply, while also meeting sustainable building standards.

This logistics platform is situated in one of the main logistics hubs in Southern Europe, integrated into the Andalusian logistics network, with connections to the Mediterranean and Atlantic railway corridors, as well as the region's major highways, ports, and airport facilities.

The project's practices in energy-efficient refrigeration technology reinforce Dunas Capital Real Estate's market position in the development of cold chain logistics infrastructure. During the financing process, Dunas Capital Debt, as the group's division focused on alternative financing, participated in the transaction structuring and negotiations with the financier. Following this expansion, Dunas Capital Real Estate's total operational logistics asset area has exceeded 255,000 square meters, and the total industrial land area it manages in Spain surpasses 4.5 million square meters, with operations in locations such as Noblejas, Chiloeches, Loriguilla, Castellbisbal, and Antequera.
