en.Wedoany.com Reported - China's Sinohydro Bureau 4 Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Hydro 4") announced on the 8th that the 30 MW photovoltaic project in Mole Town, Qilian County, Haibei Prefecture, Qinghai Province, constructed by the bureau, has successfully achieved a one-time grid connection, making it the first coal mining subsidence area photovoltaic project in Qinghai Province to be connected to the grid and put into operation.

The 30 MW photovoltaic project in Mole Town, Qilian County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is invested and constructed by China South-to-North Water Diversion Group Co., Ltd. It is arranged with 10 power generation arrays of 3.0 MW each, with each array equipped with one 300 kW string inverter and one 3000 kVA box-type step-up transformer. The entire station is equipped with two 35 kV collector lines, which are connected to the Mole 110 kV substation through multi-level substation facilities, enabling unified grid connection and consumption of electricity.

As one of the first batch of comprehensive coal mining subsidence area treatment demonstration projects in Qinghai Province, the project innovatively adopts a treatment model of "generating electricity on the panels, restoring the land beneath, and utilizing one land for multiple purposes." It revitalizes idle and abandoned industrial and mining land in the region, simultaneously promotes land greening and ecological restoration, addresses the challenges of idle land and ecological damage in coal mining subsidence areas, and achieves a dual empowerment of ecological restoration and new energy development.

After full operation, the project is expected to generate an average annual electricity output of 58 million kWh, effectively optimizing the regional energy consumption structure and driving local industrial development and employment.
