Xiaomi's Pengcheng SkyNomad Previews First SUV with Variable Large Space

Based on the self-developed "Xiaomi Kunlun Architecture" platform, the vehicle features a flat floor and long slide rails, enabling flexible space reconfiguration and multi-scenario adaptability.

According to official sources, the Pengcheng SkyNomad has an SUV exterior but offers MPV-level expandability in its interior layout. Through various combinations and rotation functions of the second and third-row seats, the interior can transform into a single-person workspace, a two-person café, a three-person living room, or a family play area, accommodating items such as a TV, gaming console, and coffee table. Xiaomi founder Lei Jun stated that the platform architecture has been under development since early 2023, aiming to redefine how users utilize in-car space through intelligent reconfiguration capabilities.

The Xiaomi Pengcheng SkyNomad is Xiaomi Auto's second model after the SU7 and its first SUV product. Its launch marks Xiaomi Auto's expansion from the sedan segment into the SUV market.
