Both grinding machines were developed by Yuhuan CNC in collaboration with universities through an industry-academia-research model. Their overall technology has reached internationally advanced levels, with multiple core processes achieving world-leading status. This helps fill gaps in domestic precision machining equipment and accelerates the import substitution of key equipment in critical fields.

The YHDM580H precision CNC vertical double-end surface grinding machine adopts a vertical box structure, equipped with a micron-level large-diameter double-nut ball screw precision feed system and a self-adapted intelligent CNC system. It can perform simultaneous double-end surface grinding on metal and hard-brittle thin workpieces such as bearings, gears, silicon carbide, and sapphire, achieving micron-level parallelism and flatness. With a single clamping, it can complete multiple processes such as cylindrical grinding, crystal orientation positioning, and V-groove grinding for silicon carbide and sapphire ingots. Equipped with a direct-drive closed-loop spindle and a built-in crystal orientation detection module, it reduces machining errors caused by repeated clamping, making it a core domestic equipment in the third-generation semiconductor material processing field.
