en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 8, China's UBTECH (UBTECH Robotics Corp., Ltd.) and Shenhao Technology (Hangzhou Shenhao Technology Co., Ltd.) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shenzhen. The two parties will engage in full-chain collaboration focusing on operation and maintenance scenarios such as substations and distribution rooms of the State Grid Corporation of China and China Southern Power Grid, accelerating the large-scale application of humanoid robots in the energy and power sector.

This cooperation leverages UBTECH's technological advantages in embodied intelligent humanoid robots and Shenhao Technology's system integration and scenario deployment capabilities in the power industry. Targeting typical scenarios such as substations and distribution rooms, the two parties will jointly develop a comprehensive power solution integrating software and hardware, and establish a "Joint Innovation Laboratory for Embodied Intelligent Power Applications" to promote technology validation, standard setting, and result transformation. Humanoid robots will achieve autonomous movement and precise operations in complex power environments, including autonomously navigating narrow passages and smoothly climbing stairs, while being equipped with multimodal perception devices to perform tasks such as infrared temperature measurement, defect identification, switching operations, knob operations, and grounding wire installation. Through close-range inspection and operation, the robots can enable round-the-clock autonomous duty, reducing safety risks associated with live-line work and improving inspection efficiency and equipment maintenance reliability.
Shenhao Technology (stock code 300853), founded in 2002, focuses on the "AI + Robot + Industry" strategy, leveraging AI large models to enhance industrial robots' capabilities in multidimensional perception, multimodal cognition, intelligent decision-making, and autonomous execution. It possesses system integration, scenario adaptation, project delivery, and standardized deployment capabilities in the power industry. UBTECH, as the world's "first humanoid robot stock," achieved a total revenue of 2.001 billion yuan in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 53.3%, ranking first globally. Its full-size embodied intelligent humanoid robots (non-remote-controlled, non-toy, height above 160 cm) became the largest revenue source, generating 820 million yuan in revenue, a year-on-year increase of 2203.7%, with sales of 1,079 units, a year-on-year increase of 35,866.7%, ranking first globally. Over 1,000 full-size humanoid robots were delivered and recognized in revenue throughout the year, primarily entering industrial scenarios such as automotive manufacturing, smart logistics, 3C electronics manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, aviation manufacturing, and industrial data collection, accounting for over 80% of applications, with customers covering multiple Fortune Global 500 companies.

This year, UBTECH further launched the Walker C1 for commercial scenarios and the full-size ultra-bionic humanoid robot "YouWorld U1" for emotional companionship, becoming one of the few embodied intelligent enterprises globally to simultaneously cover three major application scenarios: industrial manufacturing, commercial services, and home companionship.
This cooperation, based on the principles of complementary advantages, resource sharing, joint innovation, and mutual benefit, not only focuses on product deployment but also promotes the establishment of relevant technical specifications and safety standards in the power industry, jointly setting a benchmark paradigm for "AI + Robot" empowering power intelligence. The two parties will take the strategic cooperation agreement as a new starting point to deepen collaboration, injecting momentum into building a safe, efficient, and intelligent modern energy system, and supporting the intelligent transformation of China's power industry.
