en.Wedoany.com Reported - The French-speaking Supply Chain Management Association (AfrSCM) and the Theory of Constraints International Certification Organization (TOCICO) recently signed a strategic partnership agreement, aiming to enhance the performance of French-speaking enterprises through broader dissemination of the Theory of Constraints (TOC).
Over the past five years, the two parties have collaborated on specialized training courses at institutions such as Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas and Paris Dauphine PSL. The Theory of Constraints, popularized by Dr. Eliyahu M. Goldratt over 40 years ago through the best-selling book "The Goal" (1984), is a systematic management approach applied in industries, supply chain management (forming the basis of DDMRP), project management, and hospital patient flow optimization.
TOCICO Managing Director Jennifer Eckman expressed delight in expanding collaboration for professionals and organizations across the Francophone world, thanking AfrSCM Development Director Caroline Mondon and active AfrSCM member and former TOCICO Chair Christoph Lenhartz for their efforts in facilitating this partnership. Starting from the fall semester of 2026, three training courses will be launched immediately: TOC Fundamentals on September 17-18, Black Belt In Thinking on October 1-2, and Critical Chain Project Management Fundamentals on October 8-9. The partnership also allows interested AfrSCM members to attend the 2026 TOC Innovation Summit in Manchester from September 2-4.
