en.Wedoany.com Reported - Trina Solar announced at the China-Myanmar Investment and Trade Matchmaking Summit that it has signed a 200MW cooperation agreement for Vertex 3rd generation photovoltaic modules with Myanmar's Shwe Wah Yaung Agricultural Production Co., Ltd. (SWY).

With the rapid development of Myanmar's photovoltaic market, customer demand for high-power modules under various system scales and complex site conditions continues to grow. Trina Solar's Vertex 3rd generation series modules, with their scenario-based adaptability, can meet the needs of differentiated application scenarios. For bifacial scenarios such as ground-mounted power plants, the modules can achieve a maximum power output of 760W, reducing system costs and levelized cost of electricity for large-scale projects through high power and stable power generation performance. For rooftop single-sided application scenarios, the Vertex 3rd generation small-format modules adopt a dual-glass structure design, enhancing module durability while maintaining high power output capability, enabling higher power generation revenue within limited installation space, meeting the dual demands of residential and commercial and industrial customers for high efficiency and high reliability.

This cooperation with SWY marks another partner recognition for Trina Solar's Vertex 3rd generation series modules in the Asia-Pacific region. Previously, the company signed a 1GW Vertex 3rd generation module order with Australia's Solar Juice and a 600MW cooperation agreement with Ecohope Solar, with distribution networks covering core markets including Southeast Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Lu Maw Myint Maung, Managing Director of SWY, stated that the demand for residential and commercial and industrial photovoltaic solutions in the Myanmar market is in a phase of rapid growth. SWY places high importance on its strategic cooperation with Trina Solar, hoping to accelerate Myanmar's transition towards a low-carbon and sustainable energy future by combining world-leading technology with local market experience.

Dave Wang, Trina Solar's Regional Head for Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar, stated that this cooperation with SWY is another example of the widespread recognition of the Vertex 3rd generation series modules in the Asia-Pacific market. The company will work with partners deeply rooted in local markets to deploy the new generation of high-efficiency module technology in diverse application scenarios.

This cooperation is a key practice for Trina Solar in deepening its presence in the Myanmar photovoltaic market and an important measure for the company to expand its distributed market in the Asia-Pacific region. Trina Solar will leverage its full-scenario Vertex 3rd generation product matrix and collaborate with local partners to promote the deployment of high-efficiency photovoltaic solutions in the Myanmar and Asia-Pacific markets.
