en.Wedoany.com Reported - The research and development laboratory of Rayzon Solar Limited (Rayzon Solar) has received accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) under the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard.
The accreditation is valid from June 12, 2026, to June 11, 2030, covering the company's testing laboratory located in Karanj, Surat, Gujarat, confirming its technical capability to conduct photovoltaic module testing in accordance with globally recognized standards.
The accredited laboratory covers 35 solar photovoltaic module testing methods, including key requirements of the IEC 61215 standard for module design qualification and the IEC 61730 standard for safety qualification. The testing scope also encompasses advanced reliability assessments according to IEC TS 62804-1 (Potential Induced Degradation, PID), IEC TS 63342 (Light and Elevated Temperature Induced Degradation, LETID), and IEC TS 63126 (Module Qualification for High Temperature Operating Conditions).
These capabilities can be utilized for comprehensive evaluation of solar modules through thermal cycling, damp heat exposure, humidity freeze, UV preconditioning, mechanical load testing, hail resistance, insulation performance, wet leakage current, maximum power determination, outdoor exposure, and other critical reliability assessments.
The NABL accreditation establishes Rayzon Solar's laboratory as a technically competent facility capable of generating internationally recognized test data, helping to enhance confidence among customers, EPC companies, financial institutions, and certification bodies. By internalizing multiple testing capabilities, the company can significantly accelerate product development cycles, with design improvements, material evaluations, and reliability studies being validated in-house through NABL-accredited testing, reducing reliance on external laboratories while enabling faster innovation and more efficient product certification.
The laboratory also supports the validation and reliability testing of photovoltaic technologies such as advanced cell architectures and next-generation module designs, areas where continuous verification is increasingly required. For the Indian solar manufacturing industry, this accreditation reflects the country's emphasis on developing world-class quality infrastructure alongside expanding manufacturing capabilities. Internationally recognized testing facilities help improve product reliability, enhance export competitiveness, and build market confidence.
NABL accreditation is an ongoing commitment. Throughout the accreditation period, the laboratory will undergo regular surveillance and reassessment to ensure continued compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements, maintaining the highest standards of testing capability, calibration traceability, and quality management.
This accreditation aligns with Rayzon Solar's long-term strategy of integrating manufacturing with R&D and quality assurance capabilities. By investing in internationally recognized testing infrastructure, the company aims to deliver high-performance, reliable solar modules and contribute to the advancement of India's solar manufacturing ecosystem.
