en.Wedoany.com Reported - Advanced manufacturing company Oobotic Inc. announced in July 2026 that it has established its first production facility in Melbourne, Arkansas. The project involves an investment of approximately $6.5 million and is expected to create up to 70 jobs over the next four years. The facility is located at 2262 La Crosse Road, covering approximately 97,000 square feet.
Oobotic is an advanced manufacturing enterprise specializing in automation and artificial intelligence technology, dedicated to achieving large-scale, highly competitive, and highly reliable manufacturing of consumer goods through AI-powered automated production systems. The company plans to produce a diverse range of consumer products at this facility, including electronics, containers, toys, tools, and various household items. Initial production will focus on manufacturing electronics and other finished goods, while also supporting Aspen Appliance Inc. in Anaheim Hills, California, in the domestic production of box fans.
Billy Faver, Plant Manager at Oobotic, stated that the company is pleased to establish operations in Melbourne and become part of the local community. The facility will support manufacturing activities in the United States and lay the foundation for future growth. Clint O'Neal, Executive Director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC), noted that Oobotic's arrival in Melbourne is a positive development for the region, bringing new job opportunities to north-central Arkansas. The company stated that its decision to locate in Melbourne took into account the local workforce, business environment, operational advantages, and incentives provided by the AEDC.
Arkansas has offered several incentives for the project, including: the Advantage Arkansas program, which provides state income tax credits based on the number of new employees; the Tax Back program, which offers sales tax refunds on building materials, taxable machinery, and project-related equipment; and a $315,000 Community Development Block Grant.

Jason Liszewski, Vice President of Sales at Aspen Appliance, expressed pride in supporting U.S. box fan manufacturing through the partnership with Oobotic. He emphasized that bringing production back to the United States must be done strategically, and advanced AI automation is key to achieving scalability, competitiveness, and reliability in American manufacturing. Oobotic is expected to recruit for positions in manufacturing, operations, and administration. The completion of this facility marks a significant step in Oobotic's continued expansion of its U.S. manufacturing capabilities.
