en.Wedoany.com Reported - Kurmangazy Yeskaziev, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Kazakhstan's National Oil and Gas Company (KMG), met with a Japanese business delegation in Astana to discuss investment cooperation in oil and gas extraction, processing, and decarbonization, as well as the possibility of supplying Kazakh oil to Japan.
The delegation was led by Takeshi Hashimoto, Chairman of the Japan-CIS Business Cooperation Committee under the Japan Business Federation (KEIDANREN) and Director of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd. The meeting was also attended by Yasumasa Iijima, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as representatives from Shimizu Corporation, Sojitz Corporation, Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Mizuho Bank, Ltd, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd, MUFG Bank, Ltd, Toyo Engineering Corporation, Marubeni Corporation, ITOCHU Corporation, and Sumitomo Corporation.
Following the talks, both sides confirmed their willingness to further expand business ties.
