SAEL Secures 585.8 MWp Solar Module Order in Uttar Pradesh, India

en.Wedoany.com Reported - SAEL Solar P6 Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of SAEL Industries Ltd, has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd (NTPC REL) to supply TOPCon solar photovoltaic modules for the 585.8 MWp Chitrakoot-1 solar photovoltaic project in Uttar Pradesh. This order is the largest segment of the Chitrakoot-1 project.

Under the contract, SAEL Solar P6 will be responsible for manufacturing and delivering the high-efficiency TOPCon solar photovoltaic modules required for the project.

SAEL Industries Ltd is a soon-to-be-listed vertically integrated renewable energy company, with operations spanning utility-scale solar projects, solar photovoltaic module manufacturing, and waste-to-energy (WtE) from agricultural residues. As of the end of September 2025, the company had a contracted and awarded direct current (DC) capacity of 8,299 MWp for solar and energy storage projects, along with a 3,625 MW TOPCon solar module assembly capacity and 164.9 MW of agricultural waste-to-energy capacity. The company is currently constructing an integrated 5 GW solar cell and 5 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Jewar (Greater Noida), Uttar Pradesh.
