Zhejiang Environmental Protection Group is a wholly-owned energy-saving and environmental protection industry platform of Hangzhou Iron and Steel Group, with businesses covering resource recycling, energy conservation and carbon reduction, ecological water services, emerging green energy, and technical services. Baowu Environmental Technology is committed to building an industrial platform of "green environmental protection + resource recycling." It currently processes and utilizes 63 million tons of various industrial and municipal solid wastes annually, treats 450 million tons of industrial wastewater per year, operates 62 desulfurization and denitrification systems and 82 environmental dust removal facilities. As one of the first batch of key enterprises for comprehensive utilization of bulk solid waste designated by the National Development and Reform Commission, it possesses deep technical expertise in the field of metallurgical industrial environmental governance.

According to the agreement, the two parties will engage in in-depth cooperation across six major areas. In the field of air pollution control and equipment manufacturing, leveraging the core technology and large-scale production capacity of Feida Environmental Protection, a subsidiary of Zhejiang Environmental Protection Group, combined with the engineering implementation and operational experience of Baowu Environmental Technology's Air Pollution Control Division, they will jointly explore markets in industries such as steel, building materials, coking, and power. In the field of industrial water treatment and chemical development, they will integrate the system solution capabilities of Ziguang Environmental Protection with Baowu Environmental Technology's technical advantages in wastewater treatment chemicals and carbon source preparation from landfill leachate, to jointly expand the municipal and industrial wastewater treatment market. The two parties will also focus on promoting the application of co-processing fly ash resource utilization technology in metallurgical furnaces and kilns, facilitating the large-scale use of green materials based on metallurgical solid wastes such as water slag and steel slag in Zhejiang's municipal infrastructure and urban renewal projects, and establishing a regular exchange mechanism for joint scientific research and talent development.

To ensure effective implementation of the cooperation, the two parties have established a three-tier working mechanism comprising regular high-level consultations, daily departmental communication, and project-specific "case-by-case" advancement. The Strategic Investment Department of Zhejiang Environmental Protection Group and the Planning and Development Department of Baowu Environmental Technology will serve as the lead liaison departments, with designated contacts for each professional field to ensure efficient progress of all cooperative matters.
