TechnipFMC Wins Eni Côte d'Ivoire Baleine Phase III Subsea Contract

en.Wedoany.com Reported - TechnipFMC, a globally renowned offshore engineering and construction company, has secured a significant contract from Italian energy company Eni SpA to undertake the Baleine Phase III subsea development project offshore Côte d'Ivoire. The project adopts a fast-track development model, aiming to further expand the production capacity of this largest oil and gas discovery offshore Côte d'Ivoire. The contract was announced on July 6.

Under TechnipFMC's internal project classification standards, a "significant contract" ranges in value from $75 million to $250 million. This order has been included in the company's second-quarter 2026 order intake statistics.

Under the contract terms, TechnipFMC is responsible for the design and manufacturing of flexible flowlines and risers to connect subsea wells at a water depth of approximately 1,200 meters to a new floating production unit.

Jonathan Landes, President of Subsea at TechnipFMC, stated: "This award marks a continued deepening of our collaboration with Eni. The company will deliver reliable flexible pipeline solutions to ensure project schedule stability and fully support the advancement of this fast-track development project."

All natural gas produced from the field will be supplied to the domestic market of Côte d'Ivoire to increase power generation and drive industrial facility upgrades.
