en.Wedoany.com Reported - Dubai Holding Community Management has signed a cooperation agreement with Al Etihad Energy Services (Etihad Esco) to enhance energy efficiency and promote sustainability initiatives in the communities it manages.
The partnership combines the latter's technical expertise in energy management with the former's sustainability-oriented management approach, aiming to improve current energy usage, strengthen monitoring and metering, and introduce new solutions to enhance energy efficiency through project implementation.
According to the memorandum, the collaboration will focus on three key areas: implementing energy optimization and efficiency projects, introducing solar energy solutions for communities, and promoting knowledge sharing to pilot new sustainability initiatives.
Francis Giani, Chief Community Management Officer at Dubai Holding Community Management, said after signing the agreement with Dr Waleed Al Nuaimi, CEO of Etihad Esco, that he is pleased to partner with Etihad Esco to create a positive and long-term impact driven by a shared future-oriented vision, in alignment with Dubai’s Demand Side Management Strategy 2050. He noted that Etihad Esco's expertise in energy efficiency technology aligns closely with the company's vision of promoting sustainable utilities and lifestyles within communities.
Residents, property owners, and partners in the communities managed by the company will benefit from the introduction of energy efficiency systems, access to renewable energy options, smarter monitoring tools, and increased awareness of environmental impact.
Al Nuaimi stated that the partnership with Dubai Holding Community Management reflects Etihad Esco's mission to lead the transformation of Dubai's built environment through innovative energy efficiency solutions, with the goal of creating measurable impact aligned with Dubai’s Demand Side Management Strategy and the UAE’s broader sustainability objectives by integrating solar energy, retrofitting, and smart metering technologies.
