Renewable America Completes 1.9MW Solar Project in California

The Stockton site's solar energy will meet 86% of its energy needs, expected to save Pearl Crop approximately $230,000 in annual utility costs.

California, Texas, and Florida are the leading states for solar power generation in the United States, with California ranking first at 45,200 GWh. As a distributed energy resource provider, Renewable America offers services through small-scale utility-sized local solar-plus-storage facilities and community microgrids, configurations considered capable of mitigating the intermittency of solar power generation.

Pearl Crop's facilities have high energy consumption and face pressure from rising energy costs, requiring them to meet energy goals to maintain profitability. Ardeshir Arian, President and CEO of Renewable America, stated that the two parties established a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership from agreement to completion, with solar operations now underway at three project sites. This promotes local community energy independence and contributes to statewide carbon neutrality goals.
