en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 10, China's Tencent Cloud and Chengdu High-tech Cultural and Creative Media Co., Ltd. established the first WorkBuddy OPC Cooperation Community in the Tianfu Changdao Digital Cultural and Creative Park in the Chengdu High-tech Zone. This community is built on Tencent's self-developed all-scenario artificial intelligence workbench, WorkBuddy, as its technical foundation. It opens AI tools, general computing power, hands-on training, and park services to OPCs (One-Person Companies), individual creators, and small project teams. The initial applications focus on tasks such as digital cultural creativity, content production, project management, office collaboration, and software development.
The community operates on a model of "agent platform integration + offline training + project execution." Registered members can apply for a dedicated WorkBuddy account and directly import specific creative or operational tasks into the agent workbench, eliminating the need to deploy separate software processes for document processing, information retrieval, visual design, and data analysis.
Upon receiving a natural language task, WorkBuddy first identifies the objective, then breaks the task down into steps such as information collection, content organization, data processing, file generation, and result verification. The platform supports running multiple tasks simultaneously and, with user authorization, can read designated local folders to classify, extract, rewrite, or batch-process documents, images, spreadsheets, and other materials within. Its deliverables are not limited to text responses in a dialogue box; it can also directly generate documents, spreadsheets, presentations, research reports, data charts, and executable program files. For projects requiring continuous execution, users can view the execution status, generated files, content changes, and final results in the task list, reducing the need to repeatedly copy data between multiple generation tools and office software.
OPCs and individual creators within the community can apply for 4,000 general computing power credits monthly. These credits can be used across tools like WorkBuddy and CodeBuddy, covering content creation, daily office tasks, and code development. The free computing power is allocated on a quota basis; not all registered members automatically receive a fixed amount. Specific application procedures and service cycles are subject to community arrangements.
For digital cultural and creative projects, WorkBuddy can organize traditionally scattered creative steps into a continuous workflow. For example, a user can first have the system read existing plans and material libraries, then generate topic structures, scripts, promotional copy, project schedules, and presentation files, and subsequently modify specific content based on feedback. The platform features over a hundred industry-specific skills and allows users to create new skills, encapsulating frequently used operational steps, file formats, and delivery requirements into fixed processes. Once configured, similar tasks can be directly invoked without re-entering all rules each time.
The first OPC Practical Training Camp launched on July 11 at the Tianfu Changdao Digital Cultural and Creative Park. The training content does not focus solely on introducing model concepts; instead, it enables participants to use WorkBuddy to complete content creation, office cultural creativity, project management, and development tasks. It also provides operational guidance in different areas such as product technology, business operations, and brand promotion. Over the next year, the park and the Tencent Cloud Developer Community will continue to organize technical teaching, hands-on training, and project exchange activities.
The community also integrates AI tools into the park's existing enterprise and creator service system. The Tianfu Changdao Digital Cultural and Creative Park has already gathered over 70 digital cultural and creative enterprises. The community will subsequently expand dedicated workspaces, public technology platforms, and local services, forming an operational structure of "registered in the community, working in the cloud, local services, local settlement." The park plans to organize industry connections around AI and digital cultural and creative projects, and link with local university talent in cultural creativity, AI, and digital services, enabling resident teams to complete tool usage, personnel training, project collaboration, and result demonstration within the same park.
WorkBuddy is also equipped with a project mode and enterprise management backend, allowing different agents, file materials, and task members to be grouped into the same project. Its office agent suite can connect with Tencent Docs, Tencent Cloud Drive, and Tencent Lexiang, ensuring continuity in the generation, storage, and reuse of project materials. For teams with only one or a few members, this system can simultaneously handle tasks such as material organization, document creation, data analysis, content scheduling, and some development tasks. However, regarding account permissions, local files, and enterprise materials, users still need to set access scopes and verify the generated results.
Chengdu plans to build 20 AI OPC communities by 2027 and cultivate 100 innovative products and 100 demonstration scenarios. The newly established WorkBuddy OPC Cooperation Community uses the Tianfu Changdao Digital Cultural and Creative Park as its first operational node. The initial phase will verify the integration of computing power distribution, agent training, project incubation, and park services. Subsequently, based on actual operational results, the model will be replicated to other areas of Chengdu.
