The addition of these new models expands SOUEAST's product lineup in Egypt to cover the C-segment and D-segment, including both fuel vehicles and new energy vehicles, to meet diverse local mobility needs.

With the growing demand for urban commuting and multi-passenger travel, SUVs have become mainstream in the Egyptian automotive market. The market is transitioning from traditional fuel vehicles to a diversified landscape encompassing fuel, pure electric, and hybrid vehicles, with plug-in hybrids emerging as a key consumer trend due to their dual powertrain flexibility. Based on market insights, SOUEAST has entered this segment, launching new hybrid SUVs with differentiated positioning and scenario-based features.

The S06 DM is positioned as a stylish urban SUV, equipped with a hybrid powertrain that accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds, featuring a 15.6-inch smart touchscreen and intelligent voice interaction system. The S08 DM is a 7-seat urban comfort SUV with a body length of 4810 mm and a wheelbase of 2820 mm, adopting a 2+3+2 seat layout; it offers 41 storage compartments and a maximum cargo volume of 1708 liters. This model is equipped with an intelligent multi-mode cabin system, with front seats providing heating, ventilation, and massage functions, along with a 6.4-liter armrest refrigerator. The body structure uses 86% high-strength steel to enhance safety.

Both models operate in electric mode during city driving to reduce fuel consumption, while the fuel system ensures range during long-distance highway driving.

Since entering the Egyptian market in July 2025 with four fuel models, SOUEAST has quickly established its market position through a clear product strategy and competitive vehicles. Within less than a year, the brand rose to sixth place in Egypt's overall passenger car market and fourth among Chinese brands. SOUEAST recently received the "Special Excellence Award for Best New Brand Launch," and its S05 model was named "Best Chinese Compact SUV (2025-2026)" at the "Egyptian Car of the Year (ECOTY)" awards. With the launch of the S06 DM and S08 DM, SOUEAST has built a product lineup in Egypt covering different segments and powertrains.
