Wedoany.com Report-May 11, TCL SunPower, a division of TCL Technology Group Corp, unveiled its SunPower M Class solar module series, featuring TOPCon and back contact technology, at Intersolar 2025 in China. The series, designed for both residential and commercial applications, offers high efficiency and durability, catering to diverse energy needs.

TCL SunPower debuted the M Class series at this year's Intersolar

The M Class series includes three panels. The SPR-BD72-GC, aimed at commercial use, delivers 635 W to 650 W with efficiencies of 23.5% to 24.4%. Its framed glass-glass design incorporates bifacial energy generation and back contact technology, measuring 1134 mm x 2382 mm x 30 mm and weighing 32.3 kg. It comes with a 15- to 30-year product and power warranty. For residential applications, the SPR-BE54-WC offers 470 W to 500 W with efficiencies of 23.5% to 25%. Featuring a white backsheet, black frame, and shingled back contact technology, it measures 1134 mm x 1762 mm x 30 mm, weighs 20.6 kg, and includes a 40-year warranty. The SPR-BE54-DC, also for residential use, provides 460 W to 490 W with efficiencies of 23% to 24.5%. It shares the same dimensions as the BE54-WC but uses a framed glass-glass design, weighing 24.2 kg, and also carries a 40-year warranty.

TCL SunPower stated: “With industry-leading energy density, the M Class panels are expected to reach 25% efficiency for residential applications and 24.4% for commercial applications, bringing back contact solar to new heights. These panels are engineered to withstand harsh environmental conditions, ensuring reliable energy production for more than 40 years.”

All panels in the series are built to resist micro-cracks, soiling, heat, wind, and hail, ensuring a minimum warranted output of 99% in the first year and a maximum annual degradation of 0.25%. TCL’s cost-effective manufacturing model enhances accessibility, making advanced solar technology available to a broader market.

Vincent Maurice, Vice President of Sales at TCL SunPower Global, said: “Our portfolio has been engineered to meet customer demands including maximising energy density for increased system output, options for cost-sensitive markets, elegant system aesthetics that enhance curb appeal and long-term reliability.”

Introduced at Intersolar 2025, the M Class series strengthens TCL SunPower’s position in the renewable energy sector. By combining high-efficiency technology with robust design, the panels support sustainable energy solutions for homes and businesses, contributing to global clean energy goals while meeting market demands for reliability and performance.
