en.Wedoany.com Reported - UK elevator maintenance company Pace Group has completed the acquisitions of Bradford Lifts and Atlas Lifts, increasing its core maintenance fleet to approximately 10,000 units and its total employee count to 207. Both companies, located in Shipley and Aberdeen respectively, specialize in elevator maintenance services. Following the transactions, 25 employees have joined Pace Group, with Bradford Lifts' 700 units and Atlas Lifts' over 300 units being incorporated into the group, along with a growing portfolio of stairlifts, platform lifts, and access equipment.

Headquartered in the West Midlands, Pace Group specializes in the maintenance and repair of elevators, service lifts, and stairlifts, aiming to enhance equipment safety, performance, and lifespan. The Pace Group management team, backed by LDC and led by directors Scott Haywood and Lukas Schlenker, has completed 17 bolt-on acquisitions since July 2024. In the fiscal year ending September 2025, the group's revenue grew from £19.3 million to £32 million, an increase of 65%.
Pace Group director Scott Haywood stated that Bradford Lifts and Atlas Lifts each possess highly skilled teams that align with the group's commitment to customer service and technical excellence. These acquisitions add significant scale to the group in the north and strengthen its growing foothold in Scotland. Haywood noted that with continued support from LDC, the group is building momentum and focusing on creating a first-class national elevator maintenance company capable of meeting evolving customer needs. Matt Newbold, Investment Director at LDC West Midlands, added that Scott and Lukas have completed 17 acquisitions in under two years, each enhancing the group's capabilities and market position. Newbold pointed out that there remains significant room for consolidation in the UK elevator maintenance sector, with factors such as aging infrastructure, stricter regulations, and rising insurance and safety obligations driving continued demand for specialized maintenance expertise. LDC will continue to support the group in building a nationwide scaled platform.
