The company stated that this factory marks its transition from a BESS technology integrator to a manufacturer. The facility integrates containerized battery DC-AC module assembly, proprietary software, and digital quality verification, aiming to deliver safer and smarter energy storage systems.

The new plant will manufacture and integrate "Made in India" cabinets and containerized battery DC-AC modules for utility-scale and commercial and industrial energy storage applications.

AmpereHour Energy noted that while traditional battery manufacturing focuses on hardware assembly, the new factory incorporates software intelligence, engineering expertise, and factory-level digital verification into the production process before each system is deployed. Its AH-Suite digital factory acceptance test and quality management platform enables system traceability, performance verification, and faster commissioning from factory to site. The platform works in conjunction with its ELINA energy management system to enhance operational visibility, safety, grid performance, and long-term asset reliability.
