en.Wedoany.com Reported - Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) has launched the APS-ONE-400, a modular network security test platform designed to enhance performance for Layer 4-7 traffic, encrypted traffic, and Elephant Flow traffic, enabling network equipment manufacturers, service providers, and data center operators to validate demanding scenarios while reducing infrastructure requirements.

The increasing complexity and growth of network loads, including legitimate and malicious traffic, post-quantum cryptography (PQC) encrypted traffic, zero trust network access (ZTNA), and Elephant Flow transmissions common in AI and large language model (LLM) workloads, pose challenges for network equipment manufacturers, service providers, and data center operators in validating their solutions. Traditionally, this process requires multiple specialized test tools, leading to increased costs and strained lab resources.

As a new member of the APS-100/400GE hardware series, the APS-ONE-400 device integrates hyperscale Layer 4-7 traffic, PQC encrypted transport layer security (TLS) throughput, security attacks, and ZTNA testing capabilities in a compact 1RU form factor, improving lab efficiency.

The APS-ONE-400 4x100GE test platform demonstrates multiple advantages in performance, compatibility, and scalability. It delivers 400 gigabits per second (Gbps) of Layer 4-7 throughput, 380 Gbps of hardware-accelerated encrypted TLS throughput, 95 Gbps of Elephant Flow throughput, and the latest security attacks in a 1RU platform, thereby reducing rack space, cooling, and power consumption. The platform can be deployed standalone or seamlessly integrated with existing deployments in the Keysight APS-100/400GE series, and supports sub-fanout for 100/25/10GE to accommodate various network rates. When used with the APS-M8400 device or APS-M1010 management controller, the APS-ONE-400 enables hyperscale test beds, generating up to 16 terabits per second (Tbps) of Layer 4-7 traffic, 2 billion concurrent connections, 15 Tbps of TLS traffic, and 25 million TLS connections per second. The platform adopts a "pay-as-you-grow" design, allowing users to flexibly scale capacity as needs change.

Ram Periakaruppan, Vice President and General Manager of Network Test and Security Solutions at Keysight Technologies, stated that the growth in data transmission and bandwidth demands driven by AI and machine learning workloads is putting pressure on network infrastructure. The APS-ONE-400 compute node can simulate traffic flows associated with generative AI models and agent applications, including large-scale Elephant Flow datasets and PQC encrypted traffic flows, saving lab resources in a compact form factor.
