With the new equipment in operation, the power plant's electricity output will increase by 2.7%, while enhancing the operational reliability of the energy facility. These upgrades are part of En+ Group's "New Energy" program, which aims to modernize the cascade of hydroelectric power plants on the Angara and Yenisei rivers, increasing power generation under the same water flow through the turbines. Additionally, the program seeks to reduce the carbon footprint by cutting greenhouse gas emissions from the company's coal-fired power plants.
