Since the last resource update in October 2025, the company has completed an additional 91 extension and infill drill holes at Brunswick South. The drilling results confirm grade continuity and reveal a link between the recently discovered deep gold-rich zone and historical surface mining.

Brunswick South is located 400 meters south of the previously mined Brunswick vein and just 200 meters from the planned underground access, positioning it favorably as a near-term mining area. Alkane stated that drilling continues to extend the deep gold-rich Kiwi zone, with geological interpretations indicating that the mineralization environment in this area is similar to the Youle deposit currently being mined at Costerfield.

Additionally, the exploration program has identified a parallel vein approximately 200 meters west of Brunswick South, with follow-up drilling set to commence soon. An updated mineral resource estimate, including an initial ore reserve, is expected to be released later this year.

Alkane Managing Director and CEO Nic Earner said the latest drilling results have significantly boosted confidence in this emerging deposit. He noted that the focused extension and infill drilling at Brunswick South over the past year has yielded encouraging results, with this newly defined deposit containing not only high-grade gold pockets but, more importantly, substantial antimony. He added that Brunswick South is only 200 meters from the existing development area and can be brought into production without extensive access construction. He stated that the company will begin development toward Brunswick South this quarter and aims to establish it as a primary production source for Costerfield.

These drilling results are part of Alkane's overall strategy to expand production at Costerfield. As development progresses, Brunswick South is expected to provide an additional source of gold and antimony ore.
