en.Wedoany.com Reported - Swedish bearing manufacturer SKF has announced the expansion of its AEM series high-efficiency bearing product line, adding configurations covering bearings with diameters from 10 to 95 mm, along with a variety of seals and internal clearance variants. This product line is specifically developed to meet the stringent requirements of international standards such as IEC 60034 and Chinese standard GB/T 32325-2015. Its optimized design aims to reduce friction losses and starting torque, helping original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) more easily achieve Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS).

In terms of material engineering and operational durability, the AEM series uses high-purity steel to ensure fatigue resistance meets global first-class standards. Optimized internal geometry and raceway surface finishing enable quiet operation, directly enhancing lubricant durability. In sealed applications, the lower heat generated during operation minimizes grease degradation, thereby extending maintenance intervals. Alex Pereira, CEO of SKF Brazil, stated that this product line expansion reflects the company's proactive strategy regarding global regulations, and the AEM series offers an energy-efficient solution combining technical excellence with cost competitiveness. SKF executive expert Cláudio Grossi added that with more effective control of vibration and noise levels, the bearings operate with less friction, which directly impacts the service life of grease and components. This series is recommended for industrial motors ranging from 2 to 375 kW, geared motors, and textile machinery.
In terms of logistics supply and market support, SKF ensures consistent low-friction performance through standardized quality management across all factories. In Brazil, the company guarantees immediate product availability through its distribution center in Garuva (SC). To promote technology adoption, SKF has launched a commercial campaign offering exclusive conditions for its distribution network, with order delivery periods extendable until the end of 2026. This initiative aims to strengthen support for motor repair shops and equipment manufacturers, customers who demand high technical reliability for small and medium-sized components.
