en.Wedoany.com Reported - Flynn Gold has extended high-grade gold-tungsten-copper mineralization at least 80 meters below previous drilling at the Firepower Project in Tasmania, Australia. Assay results from the first hole (2019FTD014E) of the 2026 drilling program returned a 9.64-meter interval grading 2.49 g/t gold, 0.29% tungsten trioxide, 0.52% copper, 0.04% cobalt, and 9.9 g/t silver from 200.13 meters depth. This intercept includes a higher-grade 3.77-meter interval grading 4.30 g/t gold, 0.30% tungsten trioxide, 0.37% copper, 0.13% cobalt, and 11.24 g/t silver; and a 1.47-meter interval grading 4.62 g/t gold, 1.10% tungsten trioxide, 2.20% copper, 0.07% cobalt, and 29.42 g/t silver.
The company (ASX:FG1) noted that this broad polymetallic interval is located approximately 83 meters down-dip from previous drilling, enhancing confidence in the continuity, scale, and resource potential of the Firetower system. High-grade gold, tungsten, and copper mineralization has now been confirmed at over 200 meters vertical depth, remaining open at depth and along strike. Management also highlighted the high-grade copper potential at Firetower, recording a 1.47-meter interval containing 2.2% copper within the gold-tungsten zone. These results cover only the priority mineralized interval between 183.65 meters and 215.65 meters, with assay results for the remainder of the hole pending.
Flynn Gold Managing Director Neil Marston said: "These impressive initial assay results represent another important step in defining the scale of the Firetower mineralized system, significantly boosting our confidence that high-grade gold and tungsten remain continuous at depth below previous drilling. Importantly, the hole not only returned strong gold and tungsten grades but also elevated copper grades, adding a new dimension to the project and highlighting its increasingly compelling polymetallic potential."

Flynn Gold and previous explorers have confirmed through drilling that polymetallic mineralization is continuous over approximately 250 meters of strike length. Hole 2019FTD014E was completed by re-entering and extending historical hole 2019FTD014, which Flynn Gold believes terminated before reaching the main polymetallic mineralized zone. The company extended the hole from its original final depth of 163 meters to 278.15 meters, adding 115.15 meters of drilling and successfully intersecting the target mineralized zone.
As part of the 1,600-meter drilling program at the Firetower project, Flynn Gold has now completed three holes totaling approximately 520 meters. The program combines resource growth and infill drilling, with up to 10 holes planned for the entire drilling campaign. The program aims to test extensions of the gold-tungsten-copper system and collect core samples for metallurgical test work to support future resource estimation. Assay results for the other two completed holes are pending. The company's planned activities for the remainder of 2026 also include metallurgical testing, geological modeling to provide inputs for an initial Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE), and reviewing historical geophysical survey data across the entire Firetower project area.
