en.Wedoany.com Reported - Ceva Logistics will provide operational services for Amazon in the Loire department of France. This logistics subsidiary of CMA CGM is preparing to move into a newly built 48,000-square-meter warehouse in the town of Mably, in the Roanne region.

The warehouse was constructed by the APRC Group and Vallorge Group starting in 2022 and became operational in 2023. It was initially operated by Diva Salon, a home furnishings subsidiary of the Lyon-based family-owned Market Maker Group. After this French furniture manufacturer entered judicial liquidation in September 2024, its parent company has been seeking to lease the warehouse, which consists of eight 6,000-square-meter units.
According to local media reports, nearly 400 people will be hired before the warehouse ships its first Amazon packages, expected in September. France Travail, along with temporary staffing agencies Adéquat and Proman, are organizing multiple training and recruitment events.
For Ceva Logistics, this signing in France is part of an upgraded collaboration with Amazon, particularly in Brazil. Like ID Logistics, a long-term partner of the e-commerce giant, this third-party logistics company, led by Patrick Moebel, remains discreet about its French services for Amazon, similar to its operations at the Amazon CDG8 warehouse in Taverny-Beauchamp, Val-d'Oise.
On Amazon's side, following the opening of a multi-story XXL distribution center in Colombier-Saugnieu (Rhône department, 69) in June this year, its new presence in the Loire department further strengthens its network in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
