During a meeting between the Bishkek City Hall and the French Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, discussions centered on the direction of public transport development as outlined in the city's "Master Development Plan until 2050." Topics covered included the construction of metro and tram networks, the introduction of electric buses, and other modern transport solutions aimed at improving travel efficiency and reducing environmental impact.

The Deputy Mayor of Bishkek noted during the meeting that improving the transport system is one of the city government's current priorities. According to the urban development plan, a comprehensive upgrade of the transport system will be carried out to create a more convenient, safe, and environmentally friendly travel environment, with green public transport being a priority direction. The French side expressed a desire to participate more deeply in Bishkek's transport modernization process, and both sides also explored the feasibility of cooperation with Alstom.
