en.Wedoany.com Reported - Imabari Shipbuilding has delivered a Compact Neo-Panamax container vessel named "One Summit" to Ocean Network Express (ONE). The conventionally powered ship has a capacity of 13,932 TEU and is the 11th of 15 sister vessels that the Imabari Shipbuilding Group plans to deliver to ONE by the end of this year.

Key specifications of the "One Summit" include: length of 336.00 meters, beam of 51.00 meters (capable of stowing 20 rows of containers), deadweight tonnage of 160,000 tons, and draft of 17.00 meters. The vessel is powered by a MAN B&W 7G95ME-C10-LPSCR main engine with an output of 48,000 kW, achieving a speed of up to 22 knots.

All 15 container ships ordered by ONE are equipped with 2,550 reefer plugs, making them among the vessels with the highest reefer cargo capacity in their size class.

These sister ships designed by Imabari are the world's first Neo-Panamax container vessels to feature an additional cargo hold above the forecastle anchor area. This extra hold is protected by a unique structure that functions as both a windbreak and a wraparound breakwater.

Prior to this series, such a special configuration was only seen on some Megamax vessels, including ONE's Japanese "I" class container ships and CMA CGM's latest batch of 24,212 TEU LNG-powered vessels.

After departing from the Japanese shipyard, the new vessel "ONE SUMMIT" will proceed to Xingang, China, and join ONE's Asia-North America East Coast service 'EC3'. This service is jointly operated by ONE with Premier Alliance partners Yang Ming and HMM.
