Voortman invests in U.S. production facility

The first machine manufactured in the U.S. has been delivered to Phoenix, Arizona. The company stated that this move reflects its commitment to the North American market, enhancing responsiveness through localized manufacturing and services, while creating over 100 local jobs.

As demand for advanced steel processing solutions continues to grow in North America, Voortman has chosen to produce domestically in the U.S. to shorten delivery lead times, improve service response speed and quality, strengthen customer collaboration, while maintaining consistent product quality and stronger supply chain control.

Ben Morrall, President of Voortman USA, stated that the company combines global expertise with local execution to support customer growth. This step reinforces its commitment to the region, and Voortman will serve as a long-term partner to help customers achieve growth, automation, and competitiveness.

Mark Denzler, President and CEO of the Illinois Manufacturers' Association, noted that Voortman represents high-end manufacturing, combining cutting-edge technology with a complete end-to-end approach. Expanding production in the U.S. enables faster delivery, stronger customer support, and greater reliability.

The new facility spans 27 acres, including a 20,000-square-foot modern office building and an 80,000-square-foot production facility. The Monee site integrates functions such as machine assembly, training facilities, and parts and consumables warehousing, creating over 100 jobs in the region. The facility also features a visitor experience center.

This base will support Voortman's long-term growth in North America and can be expanded based on future needs. Morrall added that this is just the beginning, and the company will continue to invest in solutions and capabilities that help customers succeed.
