Zoomlion's 500-ton ZCC6000 crawler crane, Unit 1, officially commenced operations, efficiently undertaking the hoisting of heavy components, solving the challenge of high-altitude lifting on the island power plant, and accelerating project progress.

This project is a national strategic industrial project in Indonesia, following the construction rhythm of "building the power plant first, then starting smelting." Currently, efforts are focused on the installation of the self-owned coal-fired thermal power plant. The construction site is located in a rainforest on an island, with narrow and muddy terrain and frequent strong winds. The maximum working height of the boiler main building exceeds 75 meters. Large steel structures and heat exchange equipment have high single-piece weights and large placement radii, making it difficult for conventional cranes to cover the entire working area. Multi-section cross-construction further compresses the crane positioning space, making high-altitude, long-distance precision lifting a core bottleneck restricting the schedule. To address these construction challenges, the project hoisting team, after multiple rounds of load calculations and working condition comparisons, selected the Zoomlion ZCC6000 crawler crane and innovatively adopted a dedicated superlift tower boom configuration.

The ZCC6000 crawler crane is equipped with a high-strength, lightweight lattice boom and a graded adjustable superlift counterweight system. Its wide-track crawler chassis adapts to the soft ground of the island, offering excellent crosswind resistance. The intelligent electronic control console, combined with a panoramic monitoring system, achieves millimeter-level precision in micro-motion control. On site, the equipment uses a composite boom over 100 meters to handle heavy components such as boiler drums weighing over 60 tons, water wall modules weighing tens of tons, and extra-long high-temperature flues. The entire lifting process is stable, with smooth slewing and luffing, achieving zero-deviation precision placement of components in complex environments like island gusts and muddy foundations.
Zoomlion's comprehensive overseas localized service system also provided support for the project. Before the equipment arrived, the company's technical team in Indonesia followed the entire process of boom assembly, superlift system debugging, and on-site load curve verification. During construction, a 7×24 hour responsive operation and maintenance mechanism was established, with a customized maintenance plan tailored to the local high-temperature and high-humidity climate. Simultaneously, joint training for Chinese and Indonesian local operators was conducted to ensure continuous 24/7 equipment operation.
